Streaming fraud harms the entire music ecosystem. This policy explains what we consider fraudulent activity and how we respond to it.
Streaming fraud includes any artificial manipulation of streaming numbers, such as the use of bots, click farms, stream-boosting services, or repeated automated plays intended to inflate royalties beyond genuine listener activity.
Artists and labels distributing through Zox Music may not engage in, purchase, or knowingly benefit from any form of artificial streaming manipulation, including third-party "playlist plugging" or "stream farming" services that generate non-genuine plays.
We rely on fraud detection systems used by streaming platforms and distribution partners, which analyze listening patterns for signs of non-human or artificially coordinated activity.
Releases found to be associated with fraudulent streaming activity may be removed from stores, have royalties withheld, or result in suspension or termination of the associated Zox Music account, consistent with the requirements of our distribution partners.
